Maximum versatility, power and performance
Introducing Zebra’s most powerful and versatile wearable scanner — the RS6100. This small and practically weightless wearable scanner is less than half the size and weight of its predecessor, the RS6000. An advanced multi-focus scan engine captures 1D and 2D barcodes at close range and on the top shelf of a rack 40 ft./12.2 m away, regardless of condition — scratched, dirty, poorly printed, under shrinkwrap and more. With five interchangeable wearing options, there’s a style that will maximize comfort for every user. Use it anywhere — from warehouse aisles, freezers and coolers to the seat of a fork truck and out on the dock in rain, snow, blazing summer heat or subzero winter cold. The RS6100 is always in service with its removable battery — no downtime needed for charging, just swap in a fully charged battery. Choose cordless freedom with two battery options or corded battery-free operation. And since the RS6100 and RS5100 share common trigger assemblies, batteries and mounts, upgrading from the RS5100 is easy and cost-effective.
Maximum versatility
Small and practically weightless
The RS6100 is less than half the size and weight of its predecessor, the RS6000 — just over two ounces and two cubic inches.
Cordless or corded — it’s your choice
Pair with any Bluetooth-enabled Zebra enterprise-class handheld, tablet, wearable or vehicle mount mobile computer to utilize the full feature set of the RS6100— or pair with any existing Bluetooth smartphone, tablet or PC. Want to eliminate the need for batteries with corded operation? Power the RS6100 via a corded adapter that connects to select Zebra mobile devices, including wearable and handheld computers.
Five interchangeable wearing styles
Five different mounts provide users with the freedom to choose the wearing style they prefer to maximize comfort, simplify task execution — and increase job satisfaction. All mounting accessories are interchangeable — swap at any time to maximize user comfort for scan-intensive tasks. The Enterprise Hand Mount accessory gives every hand a snug, comfortable and secure custom fit with a range of sizes for right and left hands — and users can adjust the scanner position on the hand to achieve the perfect balance and optimal scan angle for the ultimate in comfort and user productivity. For workers who prefer to wear the scanner on one finger, there are two single finger mount options — single and double triggers. The single trigger can be removed and rotated, allowing users to easily switch between left and right finger mounting. The double trigger enables workers to change hands on the fly — without removing the trigger. All triggers support continuous scanning mode. And the optional vibrating trigger signals an error or exception, allowing users to take corrective actions. The ambidextrous, one-size-fits-all back of hand mount accommodates gloves and easily fits into the smallest of spaces. And a retracting lanyard trigger worn around the neck or on a belt keeps the scanner handy, yet out of the way.
Use it everywhere — including the freezer
Use the RS6100 in freezers and coolers, out on the dock in the sweltering heat and subzero cold, rain, snow — the RS6100 is built to handle it all.
MAXIMIZE PRODUCTIVITY WHEREVER INTENSIVE SCANNING IS CRUCIAL TO YOUR BUSINESS SUCCESS.
Instant pairing — just tap and go
With NFC, simply tap the RS6100 on NFC-enabled Zebra devices — no need to scan a pairing barcode or open Bluetooth settings to identify and select the device.
Direct users with programmable line-of-sight LEDs
Programmable multiple LEDs on the back of the RS6100 can provide users with feedback to improve productivity and task accuracy — confirm successful scans, direct users through the fastest path to the right item and more.
Prevent the spread of germs with personal trigger assemblies
A modular two-piece design separates the trigger assembly from the scanner body. Since only the trigger assembly touches skin, you can give each worker their own trigger.
Maximum power and performance
Unmatched advanced range scanning
The SE55 1D/2D Advanced Range scan engine with IntelliFocusTM technology provides an extraordinary scanning range that is more than double the range of the RS6000 — enabling just about any use case. Easily capture barcodes on items in hand and on the top shelf of a rack — from 2 in./5.08 cm to 40 ft./12.2 m. Zebra’s exclusive PRZM Intelligent Imaging software ensures fast and accurate capture of barcodes in virtually any condition — scratched, dirty, poorly printed, damaged, under shrinkwrap and low contrast. And with the highest resolution sensor in its class, the RS6100 can capture even the smallest, densest barcodes.
An advanced removable and replaceable battery
With removable and rechargeable batteries, you never need to take the RS6100 out of service for charging, maximizing value and your return on investment. Choose from two PowerPrecision+ batteries — standard or extended. The standard battery lasts a full shift, while the extended battery powers longer shifts. And with PowerPrecision Console, a no-cost Mobility DNATM tool that runs on the host Zebra mobile device, you can easily spot and discard aging batteries that can no longer hold a full charge to power a full shift, protecting productivity.
Maximum durability, reliability and management simplicity
Rugged and ready for constant use
The RS6100 is triple tested for durability — sealing, drop and tumble.
Drop it on concrete and hose it off — no problem. Only the RS6100 is drop tested is across the entire temperature range — no need to worry about brittle plastics shattering in the cold or expansion of parts on a hot summer day, delivering unmatched reliability.
No Wi-FiTM interference — guaranteed
Wi-Fi Friendly Mode eliminates potential interference between Bluetooth on the RS6100 and Wi-Fi on other mobile devices.
Triggers built for intensive scanning
The triggers are rated for millions of actuations — instead of the typical few hundred thousand trigger presses. The result — less frequent replacement of triggers and a lower total cost of ownership (TCO).
Minimize downtime with maximum replaceable parts
The removable and swappable battery and trigger assemblies minimize trips to the service depot and maximize lifecycle. The charge contacts and vibration engine are also integrated into the trigger assembly, enabling replacement of these components right on site, cost-effectively — with virtually no downtime.
Save time and money with high capacity chargers
High capacity ShareCradles can charge 20 RS6100 ring scanners or 40 RS6100 batteries, reducing backroom cost and management time. For example, use just five high-capacity RS6100 ShareCradles to charge 100 scanners — instead of 100 USB charging cables.
Maximum upgrade simplicity
Easily and cost-effectively upgrade from the RS5100
If you are currently using Zebra’s RS5100 Wearable Scanners and want to upgrade to the most flexible scanning range, it’s easy — many accessories and mounts work with the RS6100. Use your existing RS5100 single and double trigger assemblies on your new RS6100 scanners. Your existing RS5100 batteries are also compatible with the RS6100 — including standard and extended batteries, plus the RS5100 8-slot and 40-slot battery chargers. And the new updated Enterprise Hand Mount, Back of Hand Mount and Lanyard Mounts are compatible with both the RS5100 and the RS6100, simplifying accessory management in mixed deployments.
